we wanted to "pay it forward" when we were planning the first Fair. To do some good in the world that would positively affect fiber arts and future fiber artists. We got our opportunity to do so when we got together with Toni Neil of The Fold, we brought in the northwest area arts council...and a scholarship was born!

the Fiber & Textile Arts Award is a one-year scholarship for undergrad or graduate degree seeking students for the 2014-2015 academic year. Made possible by a generous donation from Toni Neil (The Fold), two students will be awarded $2000 each to be used for tuition and fees. Announcement will be made at the Midwest Fiber & Folk Art Fair in August 2014.
